How to set up your own Online Shopping Website From Your Admin Panel ? 

How To Configure Your Shop Name, Address and Email Address ?

  1. Login with your username and password in your Admin Panel. 
  1. After login in your ADMIN PANEL go to CONFIGURATION >>>MY STORE and click. You will see lot of sections below the main menu. 
    1. Click on  STORE NAME section and put your Shop Name & click on update 
    1. Click on the STORE OWNER and put your Name / Contact Person Name Here ( eg. Sanjeev Seth ) ) and click on update 
    1. Click on the STORE ADDRESS & PHONE section and put your complete Address Here and click on update. 
    1. Do not make any other changes in this section  
  1. Go to CONFIGURATION >>>EMAIL OPTIONS and click. You will see lot of sections below the main menu. Now just go to all the sections where ever you find xyz@xyz.com and change it to your Email Address. (Remember to click on update in every section). 

How to Create Category of your And Upload Your Products on your Website ?

  1. How to create categories and upload products to your website?  (To give you an idea we have already created some sample categories and also added products in the section salwar kameez.) 
    1. How to create category? - go to CATALOG >>>CATEGORIES / PRODUCTS and click.  You will see 3 categories below you. 1. Women’s clothing 2. Men’s clothing 3. Accessories. To change the name of this category click on the category. To permanently delete the category and all the products in it click on X. To add a new category you will see a button below new category. 
    1. How to create a sub category?to create a subcategory like already created eg… women’s clothing – salwarkameez.  Click on yellow folder icon on the left side of womens clothing and you will see the sub category salwar kameez. To add more subcategory click on button new category. 
    1. How to add products in a category? – go to any category by clicking on the yellow folder icon on the left side of main category / sub category and click on button new product. A new page will open. Now add in the following sections 

1.      Product name: (write a title for your product like ….(embroidered chiffon salwar kameez ). Please note: do not make the title longer than 6 to 7 words. 

2.      Product’s price (net): ( add the product price in us$) 

3.      Product qty minimum: shows the minimum quantity you want to sell of this product. (this helps you to sell products in wholesale) 

4.      Product qty maximum: let it be 0 - do not change 

5.      Products qty units: do not change anything 

6.      Product description: (write as much as you can about each product detailing its work, fabric, size etc.) 

7.      Product’s quantity: (mention the number of pieces of a particular product that you have in stock, eg. If you have 1 product of this item write 1 or if you have 10 products of this item in stock write 10). Please note: once the total stock is sold the product will automatically will be marked as out of stock) 

8.      Product model – (add a code to your product..eg. Sa100. Please note: - all your products should have a different code.) 

9.      Products image: (click on browse and add your product’s photograph directly from the computer. Please note: every photograph you add should have a different name and to make the website open fast please add photographs with maximum height of 600 pixels. Large photograph size means the website will take more time to open.)  

10. Sort order: (this order shows on where you want to show the product in the category…..for example sort order 1 means that this product will be shown in the top most position in the category section. 

11. Now click on preview and you can check the details you have entered and then click on insert. (in case you want to make any changes press on back button). 

12.  That’s all. Your product has been added  and you can check it in your website.


How to Change Pages Like About Us, Contact Us, Policy, Shipping info etc. ?

e.      How to change all the other pages like about us, contact us, policy, shipping info etc.? 

Go to the admin panel than TOOLS>>>>DEFINE PAGES EDITOR – click on it and choose Editor as html area not plain text.  

A new page will open where the Editor is now html editor. Now select a file to edit.  

(please note: you can make changes to the pages on your website like 1. Privacy policy  2. Main front page matter  3. Shipping info  4. About us page…..etc. We have already added the sample copies of all the above details for you to understand better.)


How to Change Shipping Options?

5.      HOW TO ADD SHIPPING / COURIER COST ? – We have given you four choices out which you can choose one. The Shipping / courier charges are automatically added to your product cost.

Go to MODULE>>>>SHIPPING in your admin panel  and you will find the  choices.

a.      FLAT RATE – (You can choose like US$ 9 as a flat shipping rate which means whether a person buys 1 product or 10 product the Shipping / Courier charges will be $9 only)

b.      FREE SHIPPING – (If you choose this it means you are providing worldwide free shipping)

c.      PER ITEM – (If you choose for example shipping / courier charge of US$ 8 than if a customer buys 3 items/products he will be charged US$ 24, if he chose 4 items/products he will be charges $ 8 x $ 4 = US $ 32 )

d.      ZONE RATES – (If you choose this the shipping charges will be as per country and as per weight. We have already added Blaze Flash Courier rates as per weight and country for better understanding. You should have added the weight while adding products in the category for this module to function). 

To choose a shipping module click on the module like FLAT RATE and a new page will open now click on INSTALL button on the right hand side and then edit it. After editing don’t forget to click on UPDATE button on the extreme lower right hand side. 

To remove a shipping module click on the module like FREE SHIPPING and a new page will open now click on REMOVE button on the right hand side.


How to Configure Your Online Payment Option?

GO TO www.paypal.com and open your account or Register with them. You Will require a credit card to verify yourself with paypal. (Please Note: Do not share your paypal password with anyone including us.) 

Once you have created an account 

GO to MODULES >> PAYMENT and you will find all the directions there.  

Otherwise you can follow the following: 

MODULES >> PAYMENT you will find 2 buttons (REMOVE & EDIT) . Click on edit. A new page will open just change xyx@xyz.com to your email id which you have used to open your paypal account.  

After changing the above go down to the bottom of the page where you will find 2 buttons (UPDATE & CANCEL) click on update.  

Now  Go to your PayPal account, Login and go to  "Profile",  

set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to:
You will find a url on your
MODULES >> PAYMENT page eg. http://xyz.com/ipn_main_handler.php
(If another URL is already used, you may leave it alone.)
Be sure that the Checkbox to enable IPN is checked!

in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:
http://xyz.com/index.php?main_page=checkout_process
.  

Remember to click on save on each page after making changes in your paypal Account.
